In full cognizance of the fact that many people will think I'm batshit crazy, I've created this account to post my own experiences with what others might call the "paranormal" or "supernatural" but that I believe are a part of everyday life. I'm a Solitary Wiccan, having practiced since Beltane 2000, a vegetarian, a professional tarot reader, and an intuitive. I belong to a Holistic Alliance of like-minded thinkers and practitioners. I attend a weekly Spiritual Circle, in which I share energy with others for healing and to receive visions.

I am not of the "Rainbows and Puppy-dogs" variety of New Age types. I do not believe that the Shift that's coming (I call it The Cataclysm)is going to be all happiness and light. With ALL change, something is destroyed; with change as profound as the ones that are already underway, I think destruction is inevitable.

I believe evil exists both in the hearts of all mankind and as an external force, just as I believe that good exists in the hearts of all mankind and as an external force.

I am not a doomsayer. I do not believe that the world is coming to an end; instead, I believe it's entering a new era. But with every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, and the fundamental dichotomy of light and dark, good and evil, is growing more and more obvious as the days progress. People are choosing sides whether or not they realize it; neutrality is not an option.

I also live a double life. By day, I work in an environment in which I cannot reveal any of who I am spiritually, although more and more it seeps out regardless of how tightly I clamp it down. Eventually, I know that I'll have to leave my safe, "normal," socially acceptable life for the more dangerous and frightening one that I travel in at night and on the weekends. For now, though, I'm sort of in the reserves of the army of light. *grins*

Anyway, if you're interested in the subjects listed in my interests, or if you'd like to share your own experiences of this changing world, I'd like to listen. My hope is to create a kind of community of believers and a network of likeminded folks who can pass along information. It's not a roadhouse in some backwater town, but it's something, anyway, to sit for a few minutes and share our experiences. Maybe it will make the fight a little easier for all of us.
